'Lobster' typeface


I absolutely love this typeface and I think I want to use it as a base for my first a1 design for the quote "Real Life".....

One of my favorite elements are the ligature possibilities....


I envisage the two words "Real Life" standing alone on the A1, perhaps amidst quite a bit of space, and I think in terms of composition, the ligatures will help to create a kind of complete object within the empty space, rather than the words and letters appearing seperate.

TYPE AS IMAGE BRIEF RESEARCH

I am looking at some image based type for research for the image module.... I like these examples in particular in relation to my first A1 design for the quote "Real Life" in which I want to create an ironically playful piece of type...

I am trying to decide on what channel my program would be featrued. Although the subject is childish I think that the audience for the program would not be children. 


I think it is the kind of program that would not be on main terestrial tv as there would not be much of a demand for it, but perhaps on one of the other digital bbc channels, like bbc 3 which has a lot of less mainstream shows that are less topical, and often comparative shows like this and other "top ten" shows...



I have also considered Five, but channel 5 doesn't have many shows like this one or other 'Top Ten" type shows.
