This animated title sequence takes the viewer on a journey, with the subject. I've been thinking about how this would be done on AE and I think its not as hard as I would have first thought.... I'd like to create this sense of guiding the watcher on a route or a journey....

'BIG FISH' TITLE SEQUENCE
I like the hand drawn element of this animation, and the use of multiple layers to create depth and textures, particularly the ocean waves moving and bobbing in different directions which I think is really succesful. I also love the simple but effective use of curtains and gates, which works really well.
'BOTTLE ROCKET' TITLE SEQUENCE
This incredibly simple title sequence represents what I want to achieve stylistically. I like the idea of using texture in my animation, but I want to contrast it against flat, pastel colours.
ALTERNATIVE TITLE SEQUENCE FOR 'THE DARJEELING LIMITED'
Again, this is an alternative title sequence created using stills on after effects. I love the use of different textures and the change in perspective like when the camera turns 90 degrees and then the train runs along the bottom.....
ROYAL TENENBAUMS ALTERNATIVE TITLE SEQUENCE
This alternative title sequence for 'The Royal Tenenbaums' was made on after effects. I know it is fairly basic, but I like it a lot and it is giving me a less terrifying idea of the possibilities of this brief.
RON PAUL 'IMAGINE' KINETIC TYPE
I think that this is a good example of how consideration of font is important for the animation.... this animation shows how different fonts are appropriate for different words and meanings.....
