I have chosen to look at a particular supermarket to get an idea of their views and ideas for waste. The sainsburys website provides information on how the consumer can limit their food waste and even recipes for left over food. They work with the 'Love food, hate waste' website which I looked at in my summer research. I find this vaguely encouraging, however I'm more interested in what they throw out themselves and what they are doing to limit this.
In response to this I am going to try and contact Sainsbury's and get some feedback on what they are doing to limit their food waste.
