In the ultimate direct action documentary statement, Jeremy Seifert and friends consider the appalling food waste in America by living entirely off food that’s been reclaimed from dumpster diving. In the process, they salvage thousands of dollars worth of good, edible food and uncover a deeply flawed and unsustainable system of living – resulting in an inspiring documentary that is equal parts entertainment, guerilla journalism and call to action.

conventional packaging for rubber gloves
This is the conventional Sainsbury's packaging for rubber washing up gloves. This is the general style and layout for most brands that I have looked at. I would imagine that this kind of packaging is printed using flexographic printing processes due to the nature of the material.
Range?
The packaging and branding for this woman's sex toy uses 1950's imagery in a similar fashion to the way that I am trying to use it. I like that they have use a different image of a different girl to vary the design and create a range, even though essentially the product is the same. I think that the audience would like the variation in character of the 50's pin up/housewife girl, as then they will feel that it appeals to them on a more personal level, especially if they think that it looks like them. I could also consider varying the colour of the gloves e.g. pink or yellow or blue.....
Packaging investigation
At the moment I am looking into what kinds of packaging to use to package my rubber gloves... I like the idea of adding a sense of glamour to the product, however I don't want it to be tacky like the examples of gloves I have been looking at previously. I like the idea of packaging the gloves as though they were a luxurious piece of lingerie, with ribbon, tissue paper.....
