Erone is another one of my favorite artists. I am looking particularly at the way that he uses line. His illustrations tend to be very linear and the characters have elongated limbs and abstracted mask like faces, their hands and feet tapering off. They reming me of big friendly giants. I like the way that he varies the weight of the line, and creates areas of dark inky black which make interesting contrasts against the thin spindly lines and the areas of pattern. Linear patterns also feature in a lot of his work. Something that I have been experimenting with myself.
